Artist/designer, Nathie Katzoff, was once a wooden boat builder by trade.

Nathie founded NK Woodworking & Design in 2011 in his early twenties. His company quickly gained a reputation for designing and fabricating spectacular custom sculptural staircases and functional art pieces. Our wooden bath was created by Nathie when he had the idea to make “an inside out boat”. From here, he developed a proprietary process which could be applied to a variety of styles and designs.

Nathie, inspired by woodworking artist, George Nakashima, works with the wood as a living object, and his creations are inspired by the intelligence of Nature.

Each year he and his team of artisans and engineers continue Research&Development to make the best most durable wood composite baths. The goal is beauty and function with little to no maintenance.

By 2015 they had perfected the approach and started selling direct to customers all around the world and also working with a select group of high-end showrooms in the US.

We have designed ultra custom baths for the most high-end homes & penthouses along with our standard design lines, which we build on spec and to order. These are handmade to extremely high-quality standards in our workshop in Seattle Wa, USA.

Our maintenance-free wood baths have been installed as far away as Dubai, Australia, all over the US, and in the Royal VIP Suite in the Dubai Hospital.
